Yes. Although, the application actually notes law clerks as non-qualifying experience, I know from experience clerking for a State Court of Appeals judge counted toward the 7 years. I can only assume that the law clerk as non qualifying means clerking during law school prior to admission to the bar, or a very well written application.

My recollection is that the announcement had excluded "Clerks of Court" and private practice law clerks (which is traditionally your title in a firm prior to bar passage anyway)but did not exclude Judicial Clerks.

Past job announcements specifically excluded judicial clerkships as qualifying experience. The most recent announcement did not specifically exclude judicial clerkships. By inference, judicial clerkships are qualifying experience for this announcement.
