Everything about this job sounds great to me. Just one question, is anyone familiar with the maternity/paternity leave policy for ALJ's? Thanks.

You don't really think anyone would make love to an ALJ do you?? I hear that they eat their young..

It's the same as all federal employees -- you can take family leave (what is it up to 3 months?) either leave without pay (I think!) or paid leave if you have it. I was lucky enough to have enough paid leave accrued and then teleworked for my agency (probably can't telework as new ALJ!)

Thanks george007. 3 months would be nice, with or without pay. Would love to hear experiences from ALJ's who've needed to do this.

You don't really think anyone would make love to an ALJ do you?? Hypothetically speaking, it could happen before the person is offered an ALJ position.
