Start date? And are you an "insider"? Thx for sharing. Start date in Cleveland is June 17th. Cleveland is not on the poll. I used to be an insider.

Start date June 17th in Middlesborough, KY, with training in Falls Church from July 2nd through the 27th. Tangential, but do you think you'll get July 4th, or work through it?

Just a little advice from someone that's been there, first and formost, CONGRATS to those that made it. To me, this is the best job in the government. Second, for those of you that have not been called yet, take a deep breath, I didn't get called until I got back from my lunch break (midwest time). This is a couple day process. And finally, for those of you that do get called, look up who your HOCALJ (Hearing Office Chief ALJ) will be and reach out to them. I did that and he appreciated the call as he didn't even know if the empty office was going to be filled. Again, CONGRATS to those of you that have been called and to those of you that will be called. Welcome to the ALJ corps.

Hehe! Bartelby, crazy as it sounds, I wanted AK! I live in Anchorage. Congrats to everyone and thank you forum members for the good advice. Wow. Someone actually got an offer to go where they already live. That doesn't happen often! It almost seems in this case that they may have actually taken into consideration where an applicant already lives... and that never happens! Perhaps Anchorage is a special case. Congratulations to all!!
