I apologize if this is repetitive of something in a prior thread, but I did not receive the email notifying me of this step in the process. The only reason I knew about it was looking at this board. The likely cause of the problem was the link to the assessment tests in the email, which was apparently identified as malicious by my email server. I have made adjustments to my preferences in my email spam filter, but I'm not confident it will resolve the problem in the future.
So the short answer is, if I am fortunate enough to be selected for the next round, it is entirely possible that the next email will contain a similar problematic link, and I may not see the email. So when the next round of emails come out, I (and probably a few others) would be deeply grateful if those receiving the next round would start a thread, and make the thread conspicuous on this board, so I know to be on the lookout for the email. Thanks in advance.

Put the address on your safe list, and that should solve your problem.

Interestedlawyer, if you're like me, your server never even let it get so far as your spam filter so putting the assessments email on your safe list might not solve the problem. I'm thinking of updating my email address (ha ha, now ain't that optimistic! ) - did we figure out which email domain was best at letting these emails through?

Those of us with gmail accounts seem to have had no trouble getting the emails in our inboxes.

I am sure if you are watching this ALJ Discussion Forum you will know when the next invitiations come out after this stage of the process. I am thinking it may be anywhere from thirty to ninety days prior to hearing anything regarding invitations to the next stage of the process in Washinton, D.C.

I am thinking it may be anywhere from thirty to ninety days prior to hearing anything regarding invitations to the next stage of the process in Washinton, D.C. I feel the same with the 30-90 day estimate. They have to account for a lot of these glitches that took place with folks not receiving their notification and then technical difficulties that may have resulted in incomplete SJTs, essays and EAs. I am grateful I had no technical problems and my hotmail account worked just fine. after I certified my EA on the computer my Iphone went immediately signaled that I had a new e-mail, I looked and it was the e-mail saying my online componet was complete--the e-mail came in less than four seconds! If SSA intends to hire the third quarter of fiscal year 2014 as it was reported then OPM will need to have a roster in January or February so that SSA can start conducting interviews and reference checks in March/April/May timeframe. The latter part of November and the whole month of December 2013 are also not a good time to schedule folks in DC so I surmise we can expect WD/LBT/SIs in Sept/Oct early Nov time frames.
