I am still in limbo, have been pestering the help desk to no avail. My status is still awaiting results, so I'm cautiously optimistic, but anxious to get confirmation one way or the other. Aljhopeful2, I'm with you on no longer feeling casual regarding the job!!

I'd like to get the job but I am also really curious about the process. I think this is the first time I have ever been through a process that was fairly anonymous and at least purported to be merit based with objective criteria.

I am posting this twice. Sorry for the redundancy. Is there anyone out there who still hasn't heard one way or the other is they are moving on the phase 3? I still haven't heard and I'm very anxious. Have heard nothing yet and became very anxious when I saw all the posts about the emails coming out last week. I sent an email to ALJApplication@opm.gov and they opened a "ticket". Hope to hear soon.

Anyone have any expectation or knowledge of when the actual scheduling notice should be sent out?

Anyone have any expectation or knowledge of when the actual scheduling notice should be sent out? You need to read the other threads on the Board ba. ALJD stated that OPM is still finalizing SIs for all which will likely go into October. ALJD thought OPM might have all scheduling done by the end of next week. Hence, probably nothing until the end of next week or later.

If it helps relieve anyone's anxiety, my status as of this monring is still AW even through I received the invite email last week.

Opps - that should have been AR rather than AW. Where is my coffee . . .?

Opps - that should have been AR rather than AW. Where is my coffee . . .? It is likely to stay AR until you receive a NOR unless you blow the WD or SI and then you will see the dreaded "See Details".

Okay. I'm relatively new to the forum and this is my first post. I'm one of those still waiting for an email from OPM. I've been following this thread with interest since last Thursday. Yesterday there was a number of posts from others who are still waiting. Today has been quiet. Does anyone have anything new to add? Emailing the OPM help desk does not appear to be helpful, given that many have done so with no response. I don't believe an email was blocked or went in to spam, given that I work for ODAR and applied for the position using my work email. Can't imagine an email from one gov't computer to another gov't computer getting blocked. And the email at the end of the last round came through with no problem. My application is in AR status and I'm hoping that OPM is just slow in getting out all the response emails.

Just don't wait too long to contact OPM or you may be determined to have dropped your continuation on to phase 3 if that is what you are entitled to receive. You will get a NOR and be done. Your choice if you want to wait without emailing OPM.

Because there is simply no reason to think *that* would happen.

You are correct about that, but you can prove when and how many times you contacted them by email, if you save your sent email. A good way to prove diligence on your part to correctly find out your status!

So, I asked yahoo to restore my messages from Thursday and they were restored yesterday== but not the spam. In so doing, they deleted all messages for the past week. I just noticed my spam was restored and yes, I got the invite. It was from USAJOBS and I almost missed it again!!!!!

Everyone I know who received a response, whether negative or positive, used a personal email. There must be some SSA employees who received a response through their ssa.gov email. Can anyone confirm they did?
