I was cleaning up the Board today and realized the FAQ is really showing its age. I definitely don't have the time nor energy to update everything by myself. So I have unlocked all three FAQ posts. If folks can go in there and post suggested edits and additions, I'll be happy to review them and incorporate into the FAQ as appropriate. Thanks.

Looking over the ALJ Hiring FAQ Part 1*, I found two links that appear to need updating. (*Since I've only recently gone through Phase 3 in D.C., reading up on the "Hiring Process" might seem presumptuous, but I was just doing some background reading. Time will tell if it's something I really need to know.) Thought I'd let you know so you can update the links, if possible.
In the following two questions/answers under "Hiring Process," the word "thread" is a link, but when I clicked on each of those links I only got the following message: "This forum's URL has changed. Please update your bookmarks to http://aljdiscussion.proboards.com[.]"
Here are the questions/answers:
What is it with all the threes? Passing over three times? Rule of Three? What the heck?
It's a somewhat complicated area and it's a good time for you to read this thread.
-------------------
Can SSA not hire you even though you may be the high scorer in your "Rule of Three" consideration? How many times are you considered?
Yes. It depends - maybe none if you have a low score on the certificate. If you have the highest score and lots of locations identified, a minimum of three, but possibly more. See also this thread for a discussion of the situation.

The Board's a terrific source of info for new folks like me. Many thanks to those of you who manage the Board.
