Now that some of us have our scores:
1. How many people made the register?
2. When is the first cert going to be pulled?
3. How many jobs are up for grabs this fiscal year?
Let the speculation begin!!!

rayne and @benny, My application manager page also has a copy of my NOR. If you haven't already done so (and have the ability to do so), you might want to look there and see if there's anything.

I just checked mine and there is a copy of the NOR email (properly formatted...thanks gmail) there as well. I agree that it is certainly worth checking to be sure that your email isn't lost somewhere in cyberspace.

While it makes me sad that I won't be moving on, imagine if this was happening to one of us (please note that individuals who have rep payees are among the most disabled individuals and are usually dual diagnoses). As bad as I may feel, I have been watching this unfold for the past few days. Was just waiting until something more official got posted since there is a big OIG investigation occurring. Just puts my life in a different perspective.
Lee Girard, Community Services Manager from the County's Aging & Disability Services has compiled the following information. This should get us started: What we know - 1. Safety Net will discontinue service at the end of March. Safety Net was serving approximately 1,000 individuals. 2. In the last several weeks, SSA sent letters to and called all individuals with Safety Net informing them of the closure and the need for individuals to apply for a new agency payee as soon as possible. SSA staff at the national call center confirmed that there were a large number of individuals that they weren't able to contact by mail or phone because of outdated contact information. 3. SSA has arranged for Share and Care, an agency payee, to be at their SW Yamhill St. office on Mondays/Wednesdays/Fridays and at the East office on Tuesdays/Thursdays through 3/21/14 for individuals to apply with. Other agency payees may also be at SSA offices taking applications. 4. Share and Care has indicated they have capacity to take 950 new clients and that they will be setting up a downtown office so they can distribute paper checks to individuals who do not have bank accounts. Share and Care are taking client phone inquiries as well as applications at the SSA offices. Share and Care's phone number is 503-684-8882. 5. Several SSA representatives have indicated that if individuals don't apply for a new agency payee by Friday, March 21 they may not have funds available April 1st (this needs to be confirmed by a manager at SSA). Individuals are being directed to go to a local SSA office to apply for a new agency payee, which may be a significant barrier for many of our clients. If they aren't able to go to an office they can call the national call center(800-772-1213) and ask for assistance. Outstanding issues - 1. Because of issues with clients' contact information being outdated, we don't know how many people have not received notification from SSA of Safety Net closing. 2. People who don't apply for a new representative by 3/21 will likely see a lapse in receiving their benefits for April. 3. Some clients may have barriers to following through to apply for a new representative and need assistance going to a SSA office, calling SSA or contacting a new payee agency to apply for a new representative. 4. If the computers at the Safety Net have been seized, are they able to provide payments now and until the end of the month? 5. If Share and Care has capacity for 950 new clients, who will serve the remaining 50? 6. Can we get any extension from the deadline to sign up from SSA? 7. Can we get the list of clients from SSA? Will they tell us who they've contacted or who has come in to sign up for new payees? 8. If there are outstanding client funds still held by Safety Net, how and when will individuals have access to these funds? 9. If clients have a disruption of payments, can housing providers cover their costs until it is settled? What is the capacity of the system to back fill these clients? 10. Do we need a have a communication plan for the clients and public at large?

Well. Got my NOR, was "complete", but didn't score high enough on writing to continue. Good luck to everyone still in the fight.
