I think San Fran, but can't swear to it. I will see if I can find out.

The new transfer list for August was updated earlier this week. Thanks Alreadyin. Can you or anyone else please post a redacted copy of it?

As I posted in another thread, they are working the transfer list. We have a judge coming to fill a position, creating a vacancy in StL downtown office.

If you hear of a transfer happening in your office, the rest of us would appreciate the news. IM me if you crave anonymity. In our office, we will shortly be getting one judge who is transferring from Fayetteville, NC and another who is transferring from Charlotte, NC.

I got a PM yesterday that a ALJ is transfering to Billings from Seven Fields. According to my list, that would mean potentially two vacancies in Seven Fields, PA this fall.

How often are the transfer lists worked?

How often are the transfer lists worked? From what I've seen on this Board, every time ODAR is about to request a cert, they must first work the transfer list. So this news bodes well for Scoobies.

It appears OKC will be getting a transfer judge as well . . . preliminary confirmations of interest made. No word on offers.

We were just told in a staff meeting that the Chicago NHC is closing! Interesting development in that it goes against the centralization model. Wonder what will happen to all those ALJ's?

Noooooooooooooooooooooooooo I thought of you cubbie when I heard this. I too would like to end up back in Chicago eventually, but I don't have family ties so my GAL is open. Because I have an IL SSN I tested with lots of others native to IL and know there were lots who needed to stay in Chicagoland.
