Is it possible they decided to open an office in Kansas City instead of Denver?

Is it possible they decided to open an office in Kansas City instead of Denver? The thought crossed my mind, too.

I received the same email; unfortunately, Denver is the only city on my GAL that made either cert. Where's Funky when we need him? Does anyone have a Batman-style Funky spotlight we can use to call Funky back to the boards? Do we really have to wait until the 17th for his comments? I don't even know what a Funky spotlight would look like . . .

Or that they had enough interest from transfers from other Agencies. If I remember correctly, the transfer list that was posted had a number of SSA Judges who wanted to transfer to Denver...

Maybe they'll add Wichita, Tulsa, and Oklahoma City to the ODAR cert . . . I have no basis for this comment.

Yes we would. That's why I added Tulsa and OKC.

I got the email saying they were no longer hiring for the Denver office from this cert. I also got another email asking if I was interested in an ALJ job with them in Kansas City, MO. I didn't think they had an office in Kansas City. I am also wondering about the previous email that said I was on OMHA's certs for Miami, Irvine, Cleveland, and Arlington. Are they proceeding with those certs? Anybody know what's going on? It's clear that the email applies only to Denver, so those other cities are still out there for hiring, along with, now, Kansas City.

I suspect Kansas City will be the new office instead of Denver. However, I am confused about the status of the certs for Miami, Irvine, Cleveland and Arlington. I emailed Ms. Baquero and asked her the status of the certs for the other cities. I will let everyone know when I get a response.

I hope you are right, but it did not appear to be that clear to me because the Denver email also said they would be recruiting for their "remaining offices in the very near future." Miami, etc. are their remaining offices.

If he finds out anything, I am sure he will relay or post it himself.

OMHA interviews are being scheduled! Mine is scheduled for June 2nd. Ms. Baquero also confirmed they are still considering new candidates for the cities on their first cert list.

Yeah - the timing of the "We're not hiring for Denver" and "But, hey we're now looking at hiring in Kansas City" emails were 2 minutes apart. That kind of makes you stop and think for a second.
