Congrats Harrydoyle - Knoxville is a nice mid-sized city. Lots to do in the Great Smokeys nearby. And Congratulations Manatiki - Columbus is nice too. Been there a few times on business. With 3 weeks until report date, it would appear the first class is probably set. Looking forward to meeting all who report to their duty stations on 8/25, in FC in September. Happy apartment/house hunting. To those with September report dates good luck as well. I'd guess there are a few more to receive calls, so if you are on the first Cert., don't lose hope just yet. ht

I have been lurking for a while, but this is my first post. This afternoon, I was offered and accepted a position in Columbus starting 8/25. Congrats! Hope you don't have to move very far, that's just three weeks out. I'm a Columbus native, so luckily that's not an issue. Also, a little birdie told me that the Columbus office was planning to hire 2 ALJs. So for all of you who had it on your list don't give up hope.

Does anyone know how to attach an Excel file to a post. I have an interesting swag sheet guessing members/locations/scores I would like to post to stimulate the conversation. I'd staple it to my computer. But then I'm old school, and you might get a more useful answer from one of the Board's young whippersnappers.

Yes, hit "reply" button on upper right hand corner, do not use the "Post quick reply" button on lower left hand corner. On the uper right hand corner will be a button titled "Add Attachment" for you to use.

Wow! Wannabee2012 should be working for the NSA. Or maybe Wannabee2012 already does . . . .

Ha Ha. Not really an insider per se, but that's some pretty good guessing!! Is it time for a bit of Poker? Perhaps when we all get to Washington. Very nice.

That's some good work. Despite the "anonymity," not a lot of good OPSEC around here. Of course, one of the stated purposes of the board is information dissemination so. . .

Okay, this should give everyone something to comment on. Much of the data was based on prior mining, some I mined, and a lot is just guesstimate/axxumption based upon when the estimated city/score posted. The chart is currently sorted by guesstimated score. Only the scores in red are verified by either the member or the person posting on their behalf. You can sort the list by any of the column headings by clicking on the data tab at the top, but remember to sort the whole chart - not just one column - or everything will be misaligned. I tried to list the current number of slots reported for each city, with a blank row for cities that have no report, but some cities have been moving targets. I listed the OMHA cert folks because they all scored 77 or better. This is based upon Funky's post regarding anonymous OMHA reports, so those 4 anonymous may well belong to four of the OMHA candidates that are listed without a score. Only two acknowledged taking a position with OMHA, the ones who took ODAR jobs are annotated in the notes, so the rest either took OMHA slots or are maybe in some of the known scores/cities for ODAR that aren't identified by name. Aaaaack! It's like the LBMT all over again! Maybe that's why we had to take it ... ODAR was trying to identify future leaders.

Not news many might want to hear but an ALJ in our office who was supposed to teach the second session of training was told today that her training team had been cancelled. Apparently, there won't be enough new hires reporting in the second wave in September to justify 2 instructor teams each week. That makes it sound like they really aren't going to make 90 hires this round.

Very interesting. It may be that they have found a way to do more than 45 in the September class. The offers of late have been with Aug starts.

I've been thinking this round of hiring may be over. But that's due to the amount of votes on the poll, some of which may be false.
