This is my first time through the hiring process and I was notified that I made the November 3, cert. I have searched and cannot find any information except on the initial introduction to hiring post regarding what to expect during the SSA interview and how to prepare for it. Can anyone point me to a thread I may have missed or share some information regarding what to expect.

Can anyone point me to a thread I may have missed or share some information regarding what to expect. It's a structured interview that shares some similarity with the OPM interview, and I believe there have been various advice given about the logistics of the SSA interview process, which is fine. However, as for the substance and/or procedural details of the interview, it cannot be shared because it will give subsequent candidates an unfair advantage. That's why you won't find anything substantive about it. The current board policy that anyone breaching the confidentiality agreement will be instantly banned still stands, and the offending post(s) will be deleted immediately.

Welcome, wylaw!
Ah yes, you happened to ask about the Third Rail of the Board. The best advice is, please don't play on the tracks.
Besides, it'll spoil the fun of the interview! I mean, I know I was certainly not expecting Trial by Combat, but thankfully they had two suits of armor, emblazoned with the SSA logo of course, and I had just completed my annual Navy-mandated broadsword fencing refresher training.
(The prior sentence is, in fact, completely spurious and an attempt at humor. Just be yourself, because that's who they'll end up hiring anyway!)

But maybe they figured they already gave vet's preference with points.
