I have now been to this rodeo often enough to know I shouldn't glue myself to anything. That being said, good luck to the contenders! Which brings to mind:

That car has one smooth ride. Is Marlon reading his lines?

Please do not post to the polls for others unless expressly authorized to do so. Funky was asked to keep the city anonymous.

I should have known better. Last night over dinner I was bragging to my wife that I had gotten over all this. That I was resigned to my fate. That I could rededicate myself to my current job and forget about this endless quest.
The Greeks called it hubris, which is defined by Websters as a great or foolish amount of pride or confidence
Funky's post blew all of that away in about ten seconds and I am back obsessively checking that my phone battery hasn't died and that I haven't left it in my other coat or otherwise ruined my chances of getting the call.
As Charlie Brown once said: *Sigh*

May I please echo that *sigh*? Funky, have you been authorized to let us know whether this person interviewed late last year of whether they were in the late January interview group?

May I please echo that *sigh*? Funky, have you been authorized to let us know whether this person interviewed late last year of whether they were in the late January interview group? Sorry, no. All info I have is they got the call and offer today and it was for a city among the original November group of certs and not those additional cities added later. And, like Mamaru stated, I have been asked to keep the locale and poster anonymous for now. I am sure once others are reported, and there is some cover to remain anonymous, this individual will vote in all polls.

Quick question, is 60 the number of posts necessary to move up to "Senior Member"?

Congrats Hondo! Even if you don't get the call, you can at least claim "Senior Member" status.

Million dollar question. It appears this is the only reported offer today. Hopefully things will pick up again tomorrow morning.

Received a very nice call from SSA today. I believe I accepted an offer of employment... unless it was all a dream! (You know, like that whole season of Dallas!) I'll wait to vote in the polls until I see something in writing.
BTW: I am NOT the one who reported to Funky, so I think that makes at least two today.
