Has anyone had one for OMHA? If so, care to share anything? Even for example how long it takes?

I'm not sure exactly what is being asked here, but if it is about specific information in an interview, we want to stay away from that. It would give those coming along later in the process an advantage. I suppose the length of the interview would be OK, but the person scheduling the interview would provide that information. Pixie.

I am asking about the background interview not the main job interview. If it's inappropriate my apologies. : )

I noticed your said "background" interview, but wasn't just real sure what that was, or what our policy on it would be. Out of an abundance of caution, I sent the reminder. Worry not. Pixie.

You need to differentiate as to which Agency. If its OMHA, then yes, Pixie's admonition is spot on. If you are talking about the OPM Investigator's interview of you to ensure that you pass their muster and thus have been fully vetted by OPM, then that is another matter. The latter has been well-discussed by this Board, but some of you may not have seen it. I invite you to re-acquaint with the search function...

Oops sorry. I thought I put it in the topic but I did not. I am referring to OMHA investigator interview. Zep, I hope this helps, and correct me if I am wrong. I believe you are having an interview for your security clearance investigation to ensure you are suitable for the ALJ job, which is a "position of trust." While it is for an OMHA position, the investigation is conducted primarily by OPM (this is the investigation referred to by privateatty; OMHA requires the investigation before an offer, and a final offer is conditioned upon passing, whereas, SSA requires the interview after an offer). There is some info on the OPM website here, and as private wrote, in other threads. Good luck! P.S. I suspect the interview depends on what the investigator wants to discuss and how much you want to explain. The hot-button issues were mostly raised in the E-QIP questionnaire (completed on the OPM website) but could have come up from a reference or credit check, etc. and to see what you want to say.
