I remember that I thought I would never receive an offer. I need to put things in perspective.

Any sign of FOAD letters yet for those not receiving an offer?
FOADs might signal a new set of certs.
[Edited for clarification.]

Or Certs are still open.

Some of us have never received a FOAD from the previous set of certs, indicating some of those may still be open as well.

I vote for positive thinking unless there is strong evidence to the contrary

I don't think we ever figured out why.

They don't have to close all the certs at once. I think our guess was that if someone got the FOAD letter all the certs that person was on were closed, and if someone did not get the FOAD letter at least one cert that person was on remained open.

Of course, but what I meant was we never did figure out which certs remain/remained open.

All: I apologize for the very late post. I was the person who voted in the polls as I accepted the offer for the Columbia, SC ODAR. I believe somewhere up thread, Pixie confirmed. Based on shoocat's announcement, now I'm not sure if Pixie was confirming for her or me. I voted in the polls. I do look forward to meeting shoocat.
Congrats to all who have gotten the call. To those still waiting, continue to be patient and hopeful. The saying that "it's a marathon, not a sprint" is absolutely true. This forum is a treasure trove of info with great folks. Thanks.

Congratulations Friant. I am glad you got the spot, considering your "very small GAL." I think you will do well.
