Pixie laying down the hand of the law for the Board. I am glad she did. Look Pixie has done an excellent job of moderating this Board along with ALJD. Please follow the rules or you will be placed in time-out and have your privileges to post suspended. It has happened before (ask Tigerlaw and Funkyodar) and can happen again. So, please be mindful of the direction and advice given by Pixie, our wonderful moderator, for this discussion board.

So, please be mindful of the direction and advice given by Pixie, our wonderful moderator, for this discussion board. Thank you for the kind and accurate words of praise. Our new members probably think I am a jerk, but quite the contrary. After they have been around a while, they too will get so tired of Q & A about that which cannot be named. Most of which has been covered in past threads. Also, they will learn to use the search feature, which is a bit difficult at first. Or in the absence of using Search, it is so simple to go back a few pages, scan the thread topics and see if the topic has been recently covered. A few weeks ago, I saw a new thread posted with questions, and thought we had just discussed that topic. I went back one page and found the topic with a full discussion of the questions asked in the new thread. It wouldn't even have required use of the dreaded Search function, just scrolling back one page would have done it. So my advice to Newbies is to do your homework before asking questions; your question probably has been asked and answered in the fairly recent past. Also remember Pixie's favorite advice: Paragraphs are a reader's best friend; without them we are looking at an almost impenetrable wall of words. As to putting members in time out, I have only done that one time for one member for a total of two days. I use that only as an absolutely last resort. A warning has almost always been sufficient. Once a member realizes he is on the line, and the powers that we have, that is enough. My partner took the lead in the Tigerlaw/FunkyOdar controversy as I was temporarily inactive on the board during that period of time. Warnings did no good, so the nuclear option was used. The irony of it all is that they were later both in the same hearing office and became best of friends. Such is life. Pixie

I voluntarily self suspended because Tiger got suspended and I personally felt I was as much to blame for the kerfluffle as he was. But, while I felt that way and undoubtedly came close in my own right, I have never been brought to Pixie's woodshed.

Yes, you have been an excellent member for a number of years. And now that you mention it, you did self suspend. Pix.

But, while I felt that way and undoubtedly came close in my own right, I have never been brought to Pixie's woodshed. You are right my friend. I misspoke when I stated you were suspended, but I do agree you have been close a couple of times as have I (in the past). You did self-suspend, but I knew you could confirm Tiger's suspension because he never would do so. LOL! Also, Pixie I would say while they were indeed in the same office (Tupelo, MS for a short while) I wouldn't necessarily say Tigerlaw and Funkyodar became the best of friends. Thanks Funky, my buddy, for setting the record straight and once again I am sorry for the error on my part.

So I'm curious. Were Funky and Tiger aware of each other's real identity when they first met up in the same office or did they learn of it after working together for a time?

Nope. We knew each other after he offered to meet me somewhere and kick my arse. It was in setting up that meeting that we actually realized we had a lot in common. And, even before I got transferred to Tupelo, through off board exchanges and especially at FC training, we buried the hatchet and became friends. Ole Tiger is actually quite the meek little feline in person. His wife actually declawed and neutered him years ago. Exhibit A is his southern arse now lives in south Canada. He's a good guy and we miss him in Tupelo. Now Hilltopper is a tool and he couldn't get out of Tupelo fast enough

Your stealthy travel was, indeed, a missed opportunity for mischief. I used to think the world was full of missed opportunities. But then I got "the call."
With all due respect, Your Worthiness, but since you were elevated to your current lofty estate your troublemaking has slipped. If this is going to be a Weingarten inquisition into my troublemaking, I want my union rep.
