And the listing specifically states "Additional selections may be made for this vacancy six months from the closing date of this announcement."

They are looking for a list to be able to hire from for AA. Looks like some serious AA hiring with the hope of more down the road as well.

Looks like SSA is really ramping up hiring in Alabama. Maybe a good sign if Region 4 was on your list.
