Reportedly, the last interview was scheduled for today. It is now after 5pm 6 pm in Falls Church, so, presumably, the interviews are completed.
Let the next stage of waiting begin.

I had my interview today as well. I appreciate your excellent and timely Biblical citation LB. I'll keep us both in prayer.

When I interviewed last week, I heard from multiple people at OCALJ that there probably would not be any work done on the selection process this coming week because most of the people involved in that process will be at a previously scheduled conference in Nashville.

The RCALJ who was on my 'team' indicated that she was leaving to go home right after the interview, and I gathered that she would not be involved in the selections.
I asked if they knew how declinations would be handled - go on to the next name on the list or wait until the next cert, and they said they did not know.

In the event of a declination, it seems to me that in the past, they would move to the next name on their list. But I believe they did it differently last year, and waited for the next cert to fill the declined location. At least they did it that way some of the time--probably depended on who else was available for that location. I imagine they will follow the same procedure this year that they did last year.

Last couple of hires if a slot was declined by the candidate to whom it was offered, ODAR simply left it empty. I saw this happen at my HO. I knew the candidate who declined. The slot was filled later in the year.
