Hi folks, One question that's been of interest to me is how many active members do we actually have. Currently, we have over 700 registered members, and we usually have about 50-60 members signing in everyday along with 400-500 "guests". What I'm not sure of is how many of those guests are just members who don't bother signing in here and there, and how many of them are actually true guests who haven't registered. The only way I can think of to measure the true size of our community is by temporarily restricting the general board to be viewed by members only (WWW board will still be able to be viewed by all). I'm planning on implementing this starting tonight for the rest of the week, so I can get an idea as to how many active members we have vs. guests. The general board will be returned to view by all status by the end of this week. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause in the interim. Thanks.

Seems to me we have three classes of folks: ALJs, wannabes (on the Register) and everyone else.
The "everyone else" category apparently is the one that ALJDiscussion would like to know more about. Apparently, many are either shy or minimally interested. Many, I sense, don't want to be categorized, which is OK by me. Yet, often their posts are valuable.
I hope ALJDiscussion doesn't scare anyone away! I say register and join in, please!

Aw, see now, this is going to prevent my mom from checking this board almost as often as I do, unless I give her my sign-on!

So, do we need a poll? ALJ, Wannabees, and The Just Curious?

Ahh, wondered why I had to sign in. Makes sense though. I check often, but rarely sign in.

When I access from my phone, it is too cumbersome to sign in (all that little typing). Otherwise I like to sign in because it lets me see which posts are new.

I am one that rarely signs in but check the site on a daily basis. My wife and sister-in law are frequent guests just trying to keep up and gain a certain entertainment value from outsiders looking in.

Mental image makes me laugh PA. I'll be picturing a forest full of Kilroy like creatures all day. Very Monty Pythonesque.

I am an ALJ candidate who has never posted, but I have read this board often. It has been a tremendous help in terms of where to stay, what to expect at various stages and how to prepare.

Its always good to establish friendships in these trying times, even if they are as ethereal as all of us here.
Welcome!
