I indicated in my interview that I have not worked w/these programs. How important are these skills for ALJs, and am I out of the running because I do not have these skills?

Use of these falls somewhere between zero and none. Power Point is generally for irritating interoffice hurrah mail and invites to Cinco de Mayo parties (got one this morning). There's a nice Excel spreadsheet for keeping track of leave, but that's about it. General familiarity with machines beyond the TRS-80 (or even knowing that things HAVE progressed since then) is fine.

Cristaudo seems to love Power Point, so if you know that program, maybe you could become his buddy.
