I indicated in my interview that I have not worked w/these programs. How important are these skills for ALJs, and am I out of the running because I do not have these skills?  |

Use of these falls somewhere between zero and none. Power Point is generally for irritating interoffice hurrah mail and invites to Cinco de Mayo parties (got one this morning). There's a nice Excel spreadsheet for keeping track of leave, but that's about it. General familiarity with machines beyond the TRS-80 (or even knowing that things HAVE progressed since then) is fine.
