Thank you so much for the congratulations. I feel we are almost like a family. I would like to congratulate everyone so far and it looks like they have several more slots to fill before they are done. Thanks again, everybody. "As ye sow, so shall ye reap." Your kindness, thoughtfulness and just plain ol' bein' a great gal mandated that you be a Judge. Congrats again!

Thanks everyone so much for your congratulations and support. Good luck to those of you still waiting. It sounds like it might be a few more days at this pace, so hang in there. I'm very grateful for this board, and the support I've found here. Congratulations to all of you who have gotten your offers, and I'm looking forward to meeting you in Falls Church.

PF is right on all counts. And don't forget, as far as SSA goes, based on statements SSA execs have made, there will be a supplemental or second cert in September or October of about 50 and another 150 or so hired in calendar year 2010.

Congratulations Eaglejag. Your experience was very similar to mine, except I didn't get the message until after I got home. So didn't have any day of the vacation in Frankfurt and Croatia when I wasn't stressing about being unconnected. We had an ipod touch, so we were constantly trying to find a wifi signal in all the towns we visited. For example, wandering the streets of Dubrovnik staring down at the screen to see if the signal was getting strong enough instead of gaping at the gorgeous architecture. When we got a signal, I'd immediately check this forum to see if the offers had started yet. ![:P](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/tongue.png)

Thanks Privateatty and Northwest. Yes, it's bad enough wondering whether one has been fortunate enough to make it through the byzantine OPM/SSA selection process...to think, maybe my lack of connectivity will be the death knell of any potential offer. As soon as SSA turns on the lights this morning, I'm looking to pay the ship $4.95/min to find out the details and signal my interest. So much for paying extra to carry a global phone to Europe where it's "guaranteed" to work. Everywhere I turn, that Verizon dude and his network of thousands of support personnel are nowhere to be found...and I suspect the same will exist in Turkey tomorrow. ![???](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/huh.png)

Congrats to Riley: "Providence, RI June 22nd report date"
Riley, did you get the call this morning, or did it come yesterday?

Congratulations to all. You'll enjoy getting to know one another at training. The connections we made last year were invaluable. No way I would have made it through such a challenging first year without the personal and professional support of my colleagues from training. Make the most of it.
Congratulations again. I hope to meet some of you down the road.

Jerseymom, I've been pulling for you since last year. Congratulations. You'll be a long way from home, but you will adapt. Careful with that heat though; I never really got used to it. I'm happy for you.
