Does anyone know whether they allow us to make our own travel arrangements and if so, what restrictions will we be operating under? And if we pay, how do we get reimbursed?
Thanks,
Chris

You will make your own travel arrangements, and will probably be required to use a contract carrier, if available. The reimbursement used to be by check. May be doing it differently now. Pix.

I work for ODAR and have an agency credit card. I will ask HOD if that use is permitted.

You call Sato Travel (GOVT. travel contractor) and make your own arrangements with them. The cost is covered directly by an SSA account, so you don't have to worry about reimbursement for flight expenses. I'm not sure about hotel expenses, since an overnight stay isn't involved for my interview. You save all other receipts for approved expenses (taxi, etc) and submit them. I don't know the details for reimbursement, yet. YOGI

Is Jet Blue one of the contract carriers?

I had forgotten about Sato travel in the context of non government employees, but I guess that would work for them just as well as employees. Pix.
