AND take a copy of the original email confirmation of your testing date with you. When I showed up I wasn't on the "list" but I had the email, brandished it, and all was right with the world. I tested no problem. Isn't there a link in the original email for you to show your testing reservation?

I believe that "accepting" would allow you to get a reminder email. I do not believe that accepting was mandatory. Here is the email that I got on Monday, which is what you would have received as the reminder: "Dear [mango54]:
This is a reminder of your scheduled Written Demonstration/Logic Based Measurement Test of the Administrative Law Judge (ALJ) examination. Your appointment indicated below is based on the test session which you selected using the U.S. Office of Personnel Management (OPM), ALJ examination online self-scheduling process. Date: 10/3/2016 Important Information: Written Demonstration: 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM Lunch: 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM Logic Based Measurement Test: 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM U.S. Office of Personnel Management Theodore Roosevelt Federal Building 1900 E Street NW Washington, DC 20415 For directions to the test site, go to www.mapquest.com. No Late Admissions. No Exceptions. Travel and lodging expenses are the responsibility of the ALJ applicant. Please arrive at the Written Demonstration and Logic Based Measurement Test location at least 30 minutes prior to the start of each test to allow time to clear security. The Written Demonstration starts promptly at 8:00 AM and applicants will not be admitted after that time. Visitors are required to be escorted while in the OPM Federal Building. Additionally, all notebooks, suitcases, briefcases, purses, etc. must be scanned before entering the building. You will be required to provide this Written Demonstration/Logic Based Measurement Test Admission Notice for entrance into each test session. You must bring a government-issued picture ID (example: driver's license) to the Written Demonstration and Logic Based Measurement Test. Applicants whose identity cannot be verified will not be admitted. The Written Demonstration is scheduled for approximately 5 hours to allow time for instructions and other administrative processes. The Logic Based Measurement Test is scheduled for approximately 2 hours to allow time for instructions and other administrative processes. Applicants will have approximately 1 hour between the Written Demonstration and Logic Based Measurement Test for lunch. Please allow time after the tests are concluded to complete the administrative requirements. Therefore, please plan your schedule accordingly. You will not be permitted to use any reference material when participating in the Written Demonstration or Logic Based Measurement Test. You will not be permitted to bring unnecessary personal items (including firearms, knives or weapons) to the Written Demonstration or Logic Based Measurement Test. You will not be permitted to have anyone accompany you to the Written Demonstration or Logic Based Measurement Test. As stated in the Administrative Law Judge (ALJ) Examination Scheduling Invitation, dated Friday, 8/12/16: “NOTE: Once you have self-scheduled your Written Demonstration/Logic Based Measurement Test session, you will be automatically scheduled for a Structured Interview session on the following day. Your Structured Interview Admission Notice containing your specific interview session time will be given to you on the day of your Written Demonstration/Logic Based Measurement Test session. Therefore, you must keep the next day open (from 7:00 am – 4:30 pm) in order to participate in your scheduled Structured Interview session. It is critical that you not leave the testing site until you receive the Structured Interview Admission Notice. Your travel plans should be made based on this two-day scheduling plan.” You must complete the Written Demonstration/Logic Based Measurement Test before participating in the Structured Interview. All testing sites and sessions are subject to changes/cancellations. Should there be any changes or updates to your scheduled test session you will be notified via email. This communication will be sent to the email address you provided in your ALJ application. Use of email spam blockers may prevent you from receiving information regarding your test scheduling. In order to ensure receipt of your test scheduling information, please be sure to add ALJscheduling_support@panpowered.com and aljapplication@opm.gov to your trusted sender's list. In case of inclement weather, applicants should check the OPM website at www.opm.gov, prior to their scheduled sessions regarding any closures or delayed openings by OPM. OPM is not responsible for an applicant’s non-receipt of official notifications due to outdated or inaccurate contact information concerning the applicant (i.e., email address), spam blockers or other email filters. For instructions on how to add trusted senders, please refer to your email provider. It is your responsibility to review and adhere to any test session schedule changes as indicated through email communication. If you are unable to attend the Written Demonstration/Logic Based Measurement Text indicated on your Admission Notice and this Reminder Notice, you are allowed to reschedule this component only once. In addition, because you must complete the Written Demonstration /Logic Based Measurement Test before participating in the Structured Interview, your Structured Interview session also will be rescheduled. Update: I emailed the 3rd party folks about my situation with not utilizing the outlook confirmation process and they just confirmed that I am schedule to test next week. Interestingly they said a confirmation email was sent; however, I have checked everywhere and do not see one.....as an aside.....how nice was it that someone got back to me waaaaay after hours! Impressive!

Yes, thank you. My home computer wouldn't open the attachment and when I learned it was just a calendar function then I didn't worry about it. Until now. Trust me, it's on MY calendar. I just want to know that I am on OPM'S calendar.
There was a poster who showed up to test and his/her name was not on the list. The poster had the email confirmation in hand so it was all good. Wonder if there's a correlation? Moral: take your admission ticket to the game!

(I feel so wise now.) I accepted it again today, just as a matter of principle.

Help desk email said not to worry about accept function in calendar attachment, if that helps anyone. And verified my test date, so no harm done.
