It's a happy September folks. (Sunday and Monday 9/1 & 9/2 didn't count). Labor Day is over, the folks at OPM and ODAR are back from summer vacation. This should be the month in which the scobies will start to get their shot on the next cert. Rejoice, and if any 'innies' hears rumours of certs pulled, certs being reviewed, etc. let us know.

Sealaw, you are a day ahead of yourself. Today is the 2nd. As anxious as I am for the second cert, I don't want to be giving away any time in my life : ).

No, I just didn't have enough coffee this morning.

Rumours? Are Brits allowed to be on the register? If I hear anything, I will share it with the group. I imagine management is going to be more focused on year-end stuff than ALJ hiring right now, but perhaps we'll be pleasantly surprised.

Yes, I sometimes add the u and forget that american english dropped it, but it is still correct in both forms. I also raise my pinkie when weilding my light saber, but that's only when getting chessparent out of my way on the list.

I had no idea I'd also need a light sabre (Brit sp).

The closest I ever came to having a light saber was my trusty wooden ruler the use of which cost me the writing of a few hundred repetitions of "I will not sword fight in class" in 5th grade.

Ok. Because I feel like its time for some SWAGs. First, a disclaimer. I have not been right about a single solitary date prediction yet. I have been off by months in some instances.
Certs will come out October 6. Interviews Nov 3 - 21. First class report Jan 12.

The "issue" of whether it should be spelled "lightsaber" or "lightsabre" was hotly debated in LucasForums, including the question of how Lucas himself spelled it. If you think we get bogged down in minutiae here, you should drop in over there.

In an effort to validate you and keep your faulty prediction streak going, Gaidin, I will put the kibosh on SWAG #3 here and now for two reasons. First, it's a federal holiday. Second, it's not the first Monday in a pay period. And I agree with orchid, I hope the certs move faster.

I too hope that certs come much faster.

Me too. It's really cruel to have to go back to the spam folder and see all of those emails inviting me to enlarge various body parts so that I can meet beautiful, lonely singles who can't wait to date a potential judge.
