So many of our board members are vets, now looking to serve again. To all of you: Thank you -- and your families -- for giving up so much to serve the people of the United States. I hope you have tomorrow off and have a wonderful day.

In addition to the millions of Veterans we honor on this day, we should remember that we have men and women in harm's way, right now as we speak, in several places - the eternal war drags on - in the Pacific, in SW Asia, plus non-combat, yet still hazardous and away from their loved ones, missions going on in Europe, Africa, Central and South America, as well as domestic training missions. Our military engages in all sorts of dangerous activity even when not deployed, operating and maintaining armored vehicles, heavy equipment, aircraft, construction machinery, explosives, firearms - they do physical training in the wee morning hours in all sorts of weather and get sent to places like Liberia, the Persian Gulf, Iraq, Afghanistan, without complaint and do things that 99% of Americans would absolutely balk at even considering.
G-d bless them all.
