If I can divert your attention, momentarily, from the ALJ selection process, I'd like to ask something that occupied my brain while I was pondering the sad state of ODAR the other day:
Do any of you work in states in which the DDS follows any of the Process Unification rulings, i.e., do they consider non-medical factors in evaluating subjective symptoms, do they consider opinions from treating sources, do they provide a rationale which discusses such factors, such as the weight given to treating source opinions?
For those willing to respond, would you mind identifying your state as well? Thanks.

No they do not. New York. My original answer to this question was: hahahahahahahahaha! But I thought that was too coy.

I would be shocked to hear that any DDS is actually applying the PUD rulings.

In Georgia, the DDS proudly fails to follow the Process Unification rulings.

There was policy message sent to the DDS's NOT to implement the PUTT rulings back in the 1990's. As far as I know, it has never been revoked.
