I know that some of our colleagues have recently interviewed with other agencies. As I recall, Watchfulwaiting, Sidney and PeeJay are now among the administrative judiciary.  'Any hires among those more recently interviewed? |

I received notification from DEA. Does anyone know what their ALJ's do? What kind of cases do they hear?

DEA ALJs handle licensing cases (pharmacies who dispense narcotics do so under a license from DEA) and agent misconduct. I do not know what else they do. I think that Arlington is the only location for DEA ALJs.

I think that Arlington is the only location for DEA ALJs. It sounds like an interesting job. I have quite a bit of law enforcement experience and I actually miss it now. I'll have to expand my cities to include that area to open the possibility of more agencies in the future assuming my ticket to ride does not get punched in this round. |

Just one position? I wonder: Are the three candidates on the DEA Certificate vying also for an SSA ALJ position under the current SSA Certificate? If so, it could be very interesting if the three candidates receive an offer from SSA (if, and when, the offers ever come) while interviewing with DEA. Oh, to be in such a dilemma! Good luck to those on the DEA Certificate!
