Here is my WAG, (for the record I was cut in round two during the 2013 hire with dreaded see details tab, but like everything else in this process I learned a lot of my short fall was self inflicted, I was cut in first round in 2008 after finding the opening by luck on USAJOBS within the time frame it was open (hours) under the old system, I had know idea what they wanted then, but I gave it a shot, so I keep progressing and or learning better how to write for OPM), ok onto my WAG, In 2013 I got the see details tab right before the 4th of July I think, therefor I am guessing we get the letter for second round on Friday, right before the holiday, just a guess from a third timer. Purely conjecture, speculation with hearsay and little or no foundation, kind of like when Matlock would pull that vcr tape out of his pocket during trial and play it. Did you have AR after the first round and then it changed to see details after the second round? Or did it not change at all until after the second round?

Did you have AR after the first round and then it changed to see details after the second round? Or did it not change at all until after the second round? Last time, I had AR for first step, then AR for second step. It then changed to See Details about three months after the DC testing and three months before the NORs came out. I was cut due to low WD score. Thank you! I did not realize it was a...fluid status throughout the entire process. I'm not sure why I thought it only changed after this round. I suppose it is helpful, in a way, to receive an early indication of not passing through, assuming the see details tab still means the same.

Ladybug, yes i had AR for first round, I completed online 2nd round testing and then got the dreaded See Details Tab, although looking back on it I have only myself to blame for mistakes, as Led Zeppelin said, "Nobodies fault but mine".

I feel like we have had this "what complete do you mean?" discussion a few times now. This is our sad version of Who's On First. I believe this is what most of us are showing. Thanks Burt for adding the attachment. Hopefully that adds clarity to which "complete" folks are referring to.

Thank you for sharing this! I am a first-time applicant with a similar experience to your 2008 "See Details." I was on the SSA.gov website to get a form for a SSDI client and saw that SSA was accepting applications for ALJ. I had to submit everything fairly quickly, as I was going on vacation. Had no idea about the lengthy process involved or the fact that non-attorneys from OPM would be the gatekeepers for phase 1 until I found this board! Good luck! I hope you make it all the way this time!

Well - while there is a chance still of emails going out tomorrow with info on when we can sign in and test (guess window will be 2-3 weeks out from receipt and only open for 2 weeks based on the past) - I am thinking the odds are that the emails go out next week instead. Hope I am wrong though - sigh.

Nothing happening here (except the mounting frustration, of course.) This part of the process is definitely moving slower than it did in 2013...

Nothing happening here (except the mounting frustration, of course.) This part of the process is definitely moving slower than it did in 2013... I think it is taking longer because they had to hire personnel to review the applications - so first had to train those folks. I am hoping - they perhaps learned from errors made the last go around and perhaps put some checks and balances in the system to avoid rejecting someone with the requisite years of experience... (I can HOPE - don't laugh at me...).

Sorry but I laughed out loud at the idea that they won't do their mass rejections during this round, snorting with laughter before I got to your parenthetical, and then I couldn't take it back.
