I accepted an offer for Shreveport, LA with a start date of 6/22/08. I received the offer via email at 4:23. I am a state ALJ. Sorry for the late posting but I've been calling all of my family and friends.
P.S.: Congratulations to everyone else who received an offer! Now, I need to look who I'll be with at training in Baltimore. I am looking forward to meeting as many of you as possible.

I just downloaded my email and I have been offered Columbus, OH. It's now after 6:30 PM on the east coast, so it's too late to call to accept until tomorrow, but accept I will. This is really humbling.

I just accepted an offer to Paducah, Ky. My husband will be able to do lots of fishing and I understand it is a great office.

I was offered and accepted a position in Metairie. That will be a reverse commute as I live in downtown New Orleans. I am in the last class. ODAR SA, non-vet, score above 70.

I was offered (via email at 3:45pm) and accepted (via email, after I came down off the clouds a bit) a position in West Des Moines, Iowa, effective 5/11/08.

I received an email offer this afternoon. Location Cleveland, OH. Start date 06.22.08. I'm a fed. gov. atty. Not ODAR.

I rec'd an email, sent 2:09pm today (but I just got home to open it). I have accepted a position in Morgantown, WV, to start 4/13/08. Currently a state alj, with prior state court bench experience. Scared and excited at the same time.

Federal attorney, non-SSA.

At 4:30 p.m. EST I was sent the e-mail - I got home around 8:30 to open it - I'm offered a position in Metairie, LA, which is 1,000 miles from where I live now. Wow! I've never even been to LA! I will need to talk to all those affected if I move, so I'm on "sleep on it" mode (more aptly, talk about it mode) over the weekend. I obediently came here to post, to find that southerner is both FROM the area, and going to Metairie, AND training w/me - this Board continues to be a Godsend. For Propmaster's stats, I am in private practice, not a vet, and my score was only 65.47. But I was geographically adventuresome - I believe that's why I got the offer, but it's also why I'm still thinking about my reply. My thanks, best wishes, and congratulations to all of you.

I am a fed. attorney, not SSA.

I hadn't heard anything by 5:30pm and signed off my computer.  I just recently checked my home account, and much to my surprise I received an e-mail at 6:17pm today for a position located in one of the offices in the Great Lakes region (sorry, but I'm not ready to disclose which one).
