Congrats to two of our more colorful members, bac and @judicially inclined, as well as to our new Judge cardoza ! Fantastic news, everyone! Don't forget to vote in the cert cities polls!
A trusted source indicated that there are still plenty of calls to make (about 2 dozen), and with Friday around the corner, it may take until next week to make all the calls.

I'm happy to report... I GOT THE CALL! JI, is a judge!! Thank you to everyone here who advised, helped, joked, consoled, and corrected me on this path. I know 'm not the first to say it, and definitely not the last, but without this board and the people on it, I can't see how this day would have been possible. THANK YOU! O M G!!!!! By my informal count, that's like 42 or so board members who got the call so far! That's REALLY awesome! By my OCD count, we've had closer to 54 board members (new and old) get a call. We seem to be capturing approximately 2/3 of the selectees, so we should expect to see approx. 70 board members selected. That may include folks who have reported in from board members.
The rest, well, they may be Judges, but they don't know what their missing over here!
Bac will turn them on to the board AND to ol' Pappy when they meet up in August!
My additional OCD tendency examined the average calls per day - 7

Bittersweet. While I am thoroughly pleased JI is on board....its not in Tupelo. oh well, congrats JI, welcome to the corps. Enjoy whatever sucky, non-Tupelo place you landed. I hope there will be a spot for me in Tupelo. Oh, to be 45 minutes from Oxford. Hotty toddy! |

Per a reliable source as of 2pm approximately 107 offers made, 6 or 7 declinations and 35 offers to go this round. For some locations there aren't enough candidates. Fall training class not yet confirmed though the intent is to have one.
