Generally sent in waves. Don't get discouraged if you didn't get an Email just 10 minutes ago. A couple of people in the office just got the Email. Others may take a day or two based on reports from the last application period. They do not go out all at once. Thanks for that intel. But if you keep hitting refresh on your inbox it speeds the whole process up, right? It works on my elevator. Hang in there everyone. It does take time to send them all out.

I received an email. Testing will be open 20 June - 1 July.
EDIT: AM status hasn't changed and the email doesn't show up under the messages section. In short, as the sages have said, AM is useless.

This appears to be a time constrained open link, so I don't think the dates will be different. Be patient.

No changes in Application Manager yet. I got the online testing invitation, but I'm still "Awaiting Results - you will be notified." And as long as you continue to pass the online portion, and then get invited to DC and pass the WD and SI, you will still be AR until the entire process is complete - sometime in Spring 2017. No need to look at Application manager - until the end of July to see if it changed to the 'dreaded' See Details.
If you are currently See Details at the TOP of the application, and still get an invitation to take the SJT, please let us know. That would definitely throw a monkey wrench in the whole theory swirling around. I've heard it has happened in the past, maybe once or twice, but it is not the norm.
When I received my Round 2 notice, it was several days after the first notices went out - don't start to worry until June 16th - that gives you the last full business day to contact OPM on the 17th before the testing window opens.
The testing window will be the same for everyone (with only a rare accommodation issue being the exception).
This is good news indeed, glad to see the process is moving along.
EDIT NOTE BY PIXIE: No discussion of Application Manager in this thread. Once it starts, it takes over. Post in the appropriate thread. And Sealaw, you are experienced; you should know better. What am I going to do with you? At least Bayou gets it--see his post below. Pixie.

I am glad I have not gotten the email yet. Repeatedly checking my junk mail has opened up a world of possibilities for me. I never realized so many "sexy singles" in my area were waiting to meet me, that numerous strangers were depositing $3,182 into my PayPal account, and I could dissolve cellulite with a pill.

Any changes in Application Manager for those invited to move on? Also, please advise if anyone gets a rejection. Nothing changed in AM for me.

I just got the email as well. So excited. I Applied in 2013 buit was rejected as not having the qualifications even though I clearly did. This time around I found this board after submitting my original application. Based upon the advice of the many wise individuals herein, I revised my answers to as precisely as possible describe my qualifications. I'm so grateful for finding this forum. Thanks for all those who have so selflessly contributed to this Board!
