Wow, that Middleburg, KY is one hilly town. Once through the tunnel, it was all hills. Don't know how you found that video. I imagine it was buried in obscurity.
Don't worry Christine, you won't be going there. Pixie

sandyeggan, the ending to Dancing in the Streets is icing on the cake to a song that had already fit this thread's theme to a T. Good one! I'm not sure we can take them at their word, though, that it doesn't matter what you wear.

Can;t remember if Akron is on this cert or not. Yes it is. Apparently, the only thing left in town is an ODAR office.

Blooming dogwoods. Mountains in the foreground. Subway and and Dollar General. Virtually no traffic. Who could ask for anything more?

Thanks, christina for remembering us boomers. However, taking a bus to work might have unintended consequences if your office is in a small city.

So when this process is finally over your troubles will be gone--one way or another. Here is a song to memorialize that. Pixie

I just now listened to this song. It is in a higher key than what I expected. I think it is speeded up, which would change the pitch (the key). I would like to slow it down by at least one full step. That ought to make it about right. It hurts my ear the way it plays. Any other musicians out there who agree?
OK, I just put a stop watch to it. The song is supposed to come it at 3:44. It actually only took 3:37.9 seconds to play. So it is too fast. Rats. It sounds so much better in the right key. Pixie

So much agree. Banjos are most appropriate. Pixie

I just have to say that being somewhat familiar with the area, the music in this video is certainly not appropriate for Middlesboro. Banjos are much more appropriate. I only find the tunes! Someone else came up with the music...
