One thing I am seeing that isn't reflected in your poll, is that some of the new hires, while not currently SSA staff attorneys, have been so in the past. It appears that the agency was looking, not only for current staff attorneys, but also for former staff attorneys, even if ten years removed from the position.

I noticed this "trend" a few days ago, and didn't know where else to make note of it. Still not sure that it belongs here. Pix.
