I got a call for an interview for ICE attorney today. If someone could message me about what to expect, I thank you in advance. This was from the 9/2017 JOA.

Internal, if you were in HHS you wouldn't be eligible. Odds of getting this if you don't currently work at Baltimore NHC are nill

Internal, if you were in HHS you wouldn't be eligible. Odds of getting this if you don't currently work at Baltimore NHC are nill Sorta suspected it was the fits one person type: "Qualifications: Must have done this type of work as an assistant to the incumbent for 4 years 3 months; helpful if the applicant graduated from a Mid Atlantic law school in the 90's, drives a 2013 Ford Fusion, and lives in the Baltimore area, is known so well that the interview is a tiresome but necessary formality....."
But you never know, so it was that I put it out there.

Very interesting, but also some very specific and serious mandatory experience requirements.

I know that some hearing offices have authority to hire attorney advisors now. Send resume and copy of bar card to the Hearing Officer Director.

Anyone have experience or know of someone with experience applying to the DEA for counsel positions? Trying to a get a rough sense of how long they tend to take to schedule first-round interviews, send you a rejection email/letter, etc.

Pixie is correct, of course. I'm not always correct, and when I'm not, I am always quickly corrected. Pixie

If you PM me the location of the offices you are interested in, I will try to provide you with the name of the HOD and contact info.
