Anyone looking to become a trial attorney with ICE? Just received an internal email soliciting transfers for the following cities:
OPLA is seeking attorneys for the position of Assistant Chief Counsel (ACC) in the following locations: • El Paso (Chaparral, NM) • Honolulu • Minneapolis St. Paul • New York • New Orleans (Jena) • San Francisco • Washington, D.C. (Arlington) • Atlanta (Charlotte, NC) • Atlanta (Lumpkin, GA) • Phoenix (Florence) • Phoenix (Eloy) Once they transfer/switch people around, then they should look to backfill those positions with new attorneys.
I know, just because there are openings in THESE cities, doesn't mean that they will seek to hire new attorneys there. For what its worth....

They are, at best, near Phoenix. Both are in the middle of nowhere, IMHO. If you're considering applying and you're not from that area, recommend you consult a map to see what you'd be getting yourself into.

It all comes down to the definition of Fake - or is it the definition of News.... wait - now I am confusing myself!

That depends on what the definition of “is” is.

More HHS postings if you are bilingual for OMHA.
Curious why the need for fluency in Spanish as I thought they dealt more with providers etc and not directly with beneficiaries. Time for me to relearn Spanish.
