Anyone apply for one of the NASA attorney jobs back in June? I got notice that I was referred for one in DC (the one I was least qualified for) and haven't heard anything on the other in FL. Aside from that, anyone have any insight on working for NASA, other than it sounding cool?

I thought for sure I'd get referred for that one. I got the DC referral on July 17. Did USAJOBS update to show "referred" for your FL application? *edited to correct date

I didn’t read the DC posting so I’m not sure if the difference between the two jobs. Good luck though!

I got a notice of referral for the Florida posting on July 16. I also got an email notice of referral for the Florida posting. USAJobs status didn’t change for me, though. I'm starting to think my referrals were mixed up, lol. After I applied for the DC position I went back and read the announcement again and thought "why did I apply for that"?! It's all contract law and procurement, to which I have no experience. Well, good luck to you both on the positions in FL. Keep me posted!

Not unlike the multiple vehicle inspection item violations found for those who complain about police officers.
Institutions should welcome the criticism if likely valid, but seem to be self defeating in their response.

Institutions should welcome the criticism if likely valid, but seem to be self defeating in their response. I litigate employment law cases on behalf of a federal agency. I have seen employees engage in misconduct and then run to the Office of Special Counsel when the agency attempts to hold them accountable. The NPR article doesn't identify how many of those "whistleblowers" are true whistleblowers, versus those using it as a shield.

As a result of EOIR's hiring frenzy, you will see many openings in ICE Opla offices. Just give it some time... the announcements will come.

By the way OMHA is starting to send out referred notices (been referred, may get call for interview) for Cleveland and Seattle for AA and SAA I have heard. I do not know if such notices have been emailed for other cities.
The notice is sent from the usastaffingoffice
Good luck to those who have applied.
