Probably decent, may tend to go to those with vaccine case background but give it a shot. I have but the fact I wasn't selected for an earlier iteration won't stop me from trying again. Some of the Master positions with DOJ are very interesting too.

What is this job like? Would love to hear from others who have done it. This posting is unusual. It is open until January 31, 2020. It lists 11 locations, but the description says it is in DC. There is a link withing it to see current openings, and not all 11 locations have an opening. Seems like it is more of a resume gathering exercise....

Sounds like they anticipate hiring, and want to generate a pool of resumes. I've seen others like it though they often state that this is what they are doing.

Air Force General Counsel in England! Get that 12 O'Clock High! pay is a bit minging as they'd say in Merry Olde, especially given the usual rate of exchange & cost of living even out towards where the AFB is but ......it is England www.usajobs.gov/GetJob/ViewDetails/523744800

Does anyone know what the job is like in actuality? It says travel is 75% so is that traveling three weeks out of four, or traveling 3-4 days out of 5? Would love to PM with anyone who knows.

I'm assuming it's full time? Or not?

I think the travel is mainly because you are sent out from HQ or a regional office to attempt to mediate disputes in many locations. It could be a really interesting job. The USDOJ Conciliation & Mediation Service is sent out to defuse civil rights disputes and really gets involved in shuttle diplomacy among stakeholders. Others try to settle FMLA, NLRB disputes. I would look deeper into it, but you might enjoy it if you didn't mind living out of a suitcase a lot.

Justice continues to hire across the country, from AUSA positions to DC-based positions with a chance to make GS-15 in short order. This vacancy list was much higher just a month or two ago. It tends to ebb and flow, and I would not be surprised to see it grow again later this year. www.justice.gov/legal-careers/attorneys-vacancies?position=1

Given limitation to those holding a license in the USVI and having practiced there for 5 years, it must be a small pool of potential candidates.

It's in Arlington VA
Since location is a dealbreaker for me, that's what I always check.
