I'm already being fitted for my space helmet and jet pack. My commute's going to be a bit further.

While I don't care for the blank avatars, I think the blank is better than what dshawn had before. It was just creepy. It always made me cringe. Pixie No lawyer joke or allusion was intended. Just love Great Whites. Only have access to phone at the moment so have been unable to update picture. I am thinking the shark from Dory might be more tolerable or maybe the SNL “Land Shark.” Have a great weekend all. Here you go dshawn ... an avatar for your consideration. Pixie might like this one.

Yes, that one is great. Speaking of cats, here is my niece who spilled her milk and decided if she wanted any, she would have to get down and join in.

I'm glad you explained that picture because otherwise I would have assumed you had launched into some music explication (my phone insisted on that rather than explanation so I'm rolling with it) and she had passed out from boredom while drinking her milk.

No, she isn't passed out. Look how she is holding herself up with her front legs while she laps the milk.

In regards to updating our USA logins and searches, I wanted to check my saved searches to see what key words and criteria I had used, so I clicked saved searches and renewed my expired search. But there was no way to see what the search actually was or to edit it. According to USA jobs help instructions, there should be an Edit Search Criteria button, but for the life of me I was not able to see the search or any Edit button. Only options were to change notifications and renew the search. Anyone else have this difficulty?

I think so. I will ask my wife who is a shark expert.

Certainly much less risk than jumping out of perfectly good airplanes.

With as pissed off as wearing clothing makes most cats, I imagine that cat was about as dangerous as a shark when that picture was taken. When I dress mine up for Halloween, someone generally loses a bit of blood. I assure you it's not the cat.

Well then, and with all due respect Pixie, most people are wrong.
We are trespassing in their domain. Shark is just, well... being a shark. Hooper summed it up nicely in Jaws.
”Mr. Vaughn (the Mayor), what we are dealing with here is a perfect engine, an eating machine. It's really a miracle of evolution. All this machine does is swim and eat and make little sharks, and that's all."
Now back to hoping someday I get a shot at telling the TPTB why I would be great at this job, notwithstanding my love and, perhaps more importantly, respect for the shark.

I created a new search following the instructions on the SSA ALJ recruitment page, rather than attempt to edit the prior search. As my computer skills are generally adequate, but limited, that seemed to be the most sensible thing for me to do.

And that is exactly why I quit going in the water several years ago.

I apologize if this question has already been answered. Does anyone know the process that SSA uses for hiring Appeals Council Judges? It may be that the agency will adapt that process for hiring ALJs?
