Snakes. Ugh. That's one reason I won't go to the State of Florida. Read a week or so back they have now discovered some type of flesh eating amoeba in Florida. Didn't pay much attention to it as there are snakes, sharks and alligators that make it off limits to me without considering the amoeba. Pixie

In the ocean, I'm a matzo ball

I've never met Buddy Guy, but I met his former partner in the late 60s, Jr. Wells, one night in one of those blues clubs on the South Side. To say I was vastly underwhelmed would be an understatement. And he isn't a very good harmonica player, either.
I had little respect for him as a musician before I met him. After that meeting, I had no respect for him as a person. About the only good thing I can say about his musicianship is that he stays in tune. Pixie

I can still see snow from my porch but I haven't scraped my car all week. So I think its time for this song.

And this rendition should go along with it.
Okay now I'm ready to mow the lawn.

I got my motorcycle license last year and just bought a used bike, which is my first ever. It's a 2007 Triumph America, so an oldie, but a goodie. I don't know of any songs about Triumphs, so this Honda one will have to do. I find the activity is a great way to channel all mental energy into the task at hand. You have to think about the bike's operation, the road conditions, and certainly, traffic, all at once, and there's no time to dwell on other things.

I finally got my motorcycle license last year too. Something I've wanted to do for a long time. Bought a Honda Shadow 750 and put about 9,000 miles on it. Just traded it in for a Harley Davidson Heritage Classic and just about cried when I did so. Loved that little bike. So many great adventures but deep down I really wanted a Harley and needed something bigger and better for bigger and better adventures. You're absolutely right. You find a special kind of zen on a motorcycle. If you ride you get it.

So many great adventures but deep down I really wanted a Harley and needed something bigger and better for bigger and better adventures. You're absolutely right. You find a special kind of zen on a motorcycle. If you ride you get it. I definitely wanted a used bike, mainly for economic reasons, since if I don' truly like it out on the road, I don't want to have a major investment in it. Also, though, I figured it would be better to build skills on an older bike and move up if I do enjoy it. And so far, I definitely enjoy it. I looked at a bunch of used Honda Shadow 750s, as well as Yammy V-Stars, but I love the British bikes. When I saw the America local to me (it's 865cc), I really liked the fit, so bought it. Yeah, it's carbed, but it's sweet and rides great. If I enjoy it enough, I can hopefully pull the trigger on a newer model Speedmaster 1200 with EFI...that's what I REALLY want. One day, maybe. Keep the shiny side up.

Back to songs that distract us. I find this Ringo Starr classic to be apropos to this puzzle process.
