Apparently central’s favorite song And who did song better? Another one I hadn’t heard in years but now can’t get out of my head. I liked Harvey Dangers cover but I have to say the Beats original is the best. |

I'm also thinking about those who didn't get the call. I've been there many times and it hurts. You gave it your best shot. Jumped through all the hoops. Dropped everything. Did everything they asked of you on short notice. Put on your best case to show you were the top candidate for the job and after more than a year of rigamarole they didn't even have the decency to tell you no and you don't know why.
In these days after the calls it's easy to fall into the trap of thinking there was something wrong with you. There's not. Some of you will hold out hope for the next round and will give it another shot a bit older and wiser. Some of you will decide that, like a relationship you want to work so bad but no matter what you do you just can't make the other happy, that it's time to move on and find the next chapter wherever that may be. There's no shame in either path and no right or wrong answer.
Sure, it's a great job. But it's just a job. You're smart. You're talented. You're one of the best at what you do. And there's plenty of opportunity in the world. Make it happen.
