Can someone tell me if the business center at the hotel has a printer. Also, I recall someone mentioning that internet access was slow. I am hoping to skype (computer to computer video) with my family and just wondering if the hotel system will support it. Or, have people found other good hot spots in the area? Thanks!

Does the hotel where we will stay have wireless access in our rooms? Just wondering if I need to take my personal laptop to use when not in class.

yes - there is a printer in the lobby area with 3 computer terminals. Bring a USB drive.
It is a little slow on the wireless in the rooms during periods of heavy usage but not horrible . . . give it a shot. If that doesn't work and Skype can be run from a USB drive, you could try it on one of the lobby computers which use ethernet connections I believe . . . .

I highly recommend your laptop for personal use in your room. You can't take it in the SSA building, but just leave it in your room. The wireless works fine in the room - slower during heavy periods of use.

Counsel, I was able to get webcams to work fine through the wired connection in the room using AOL Video Chat.
