Hi,
Can anyone tell me if the PACs exceptions and the PAC's evaluation forms for attorney-advisors and senior attorney-advisors are the same. Looking back to the period of 2016-2018. I am specifically looking to see if the one for attorney-advisors mentions DWPI or if it mentions timeliness and fair share for archives business results, which is the same for senior attorneys.
I know these forms only mention timeliness and fair share for Senior Attorney-Advisors but I would really like to know if this is the same wording for attorney-advisors.
Any help would be most appreciated.

I am pretty sure that specific DWPI benchmarks in PACS started in FY19. Is that what you are asking?

The DWPI was developed in 2015, I believe, but did not get folded into the PACS discussions until FY 2017 or FY 2018, I cannot remember. Timeliness and fair share have always been a part of the PACS language for expectations as that was "code" for metrics before they could use metrics. That is true for all PACS positions.
This is from a general PACS elements guide from 2018:
Contribution (Level 3) Performance Standard The Level 3 standard represents expected levels of Achieving Business Results. Produces a fair share of work according to supervisory expectations. Completes work assignments timely and/or as scheduled. Uses a balanced approach to complete work assignments effectively and efficiently using appropriate technology.

"The volume of work considered indicative of a fair share of the unit's work product will fall within the range of 80%-120% of the Decision Writer Productivity Index."

Both are correct. The actual PACS element for Achieves Business Results was fair share of work. The narrative portion of PACS described the DWPI of XX% as being indicative successfully producing of fair share. Other factors should be taken into account when determining fair share of work.

While SSA employees would know this, it bears mentioning for others that PACS is the abbreviation for Performance Assessment and Communication System.
