Anyone have any insight as to whether to how worthwhile it is to attend?
I was thinking of going, largely because I've been pent up in my house too much over the last 14 months.
But I've now got two kids attending SEC schools, and I am going to miss them terribly and want to visit each of them on several Saturdays this fall, so funds and time are limited.
Thoughts? (Not so much on the substance of the seminar itself, which I looked up myself online, but the surrounding events.)

I have no experience with the FALJC. I went to one AALJ conference in San Diego. 75% of it was worthwhile, and it was great to see my ALJ buddies, and see my aunt who lived in L.A. afterwards. But I’ve been cooped up for 14 months myself, and am family-deprived. I know what my own priority would be, if time and resources were limited.
Be well. Hamster

I’ve been cooped up for 14 months myself, and am family-deprived. I know what my own priority would be, if time and resources were limited. A decade ago, when I lived in the Bay Area and my older son was studying at UCSD, I found that phone calls and frequent e-mails largely obviated much need for me to take the cheap flights down there.

I’d skip it for SEC football and visiting the kiddos.
