I read Charles Hall's Social Security News blog at socsecnews.blogspot.com/ regularly (which I highly recomend to people that are interested in SSA news and issues), and now and then an item of interest really strikes my fancy. Couple days ago, Charles posted the link to this report written by William Galston of the Brookings Institution entitled "Why President Bush's 2005 Social Security Initiative Failed and What It Means For the Future of the Program", which was a fascinating read if you're interested in the future of Social Security reform from a pragmatic point of view. The link to the actual document is www3.brookings.edu/views/papers/galston/20070921.pdf, and it's only 10 pages, so it's actually very easy reading. Enjoy!

Workdrone,
Can you please give us the web address for this site in lieu of the hyperlink? When I opened it I was hit with spyware x6 and my web browser sent a warning message. Thanks!
