I'm not surprised and I'm finding myself in favor of monitoring. I know it can open a Pandora's Box. I am only informed by what I just read. But, I find myself thinking (based solely upon the information in this Article) that there has to be an 'expected' level of surveillance while performing (or not)

SSA definitely one of the worst agencies to work for. They treat their employees like slaves. I think you should probably qualify that - it is your opinion- not shared by everyone in the Agency. I will also note that the article is referring solely to the SSA OIG. The details and substance of these articles matter.

Some Pope or another was asked how long he prayed each evening. He replied "fifteen minutes, before that I think about it all day."

I've always wondered why people who work for government have to compete for whomever has the worst agency to be employed by. It's not just on a forum, either...
Not sure what it says, but it says something. Perhaps some congressman should demand a report on the subject so it can be filed in the circular filing receptacle. I'm sure any of the Agencies would be happy to do this.
