okay, I read the announcement, and I see all I have to do is send an e-mail giving them my changes- except they don't say how I am supposed to indicate who I am? Just by name? I don't recall any other kind of ID when I got my score. Any one have any ideas?

I just sent OPM an email & I got a confirmation that they are working on a response. I think they can match up our email addresses with our identities. Good luck to all. JM

You must submit your change in geographic preferences before the register closes again. OPM will close after receiving 600 applications this time, which is 1/2 of the number accepted last time. Plus, this time many more potential applicants are poised and ready to submit their applications. Because of these two factors, my prediction is that the register will close at midnight tonight. Pix.

True, Pixie. I did what jerseymom said and received so far two emails from OPM confirming the receipt of mine and that they are working on the request for change. I used my email address, of course, which they had, and signed it with my full name, address, and phone numbers that they also had. It should be no brainer even for OPM - - to do it right.

Pixie's prediction of the exam closing seems reasonable. My prediction is that it will close by Friday, 08-01-08 in the afternoon. Let's see what happens.

I suggest that you go back and re-read the job posting. It can't close in the afternoon.

Absolutely right. But I meant that I would expect that by Friday afternoon the 600 applications should be in. But yes, the announcement will close at midnight.
