I have a USA Jobs "saved search" for "Judge" which I created about six months back. Weekly, I get an email, always 0 results. Yet, USA Jobs announcements for ALJ positions show up here often. (I have another search for "background investigator" with the same result.) Any idea how I communicate with OPM about this? Can't figure that out from USA Jobs.

Title and other keyword searches are not reliable from my experience. |

Immigration Judge and Veterans Law Judge positions did not appear under 0935. I don't think the Environmental Appeals Judge appeared under that code either.

IJ and VLJ are different statutorily, as are AAJ. The EAJ is an SES gig with a judge title, so a totally different ball of wax as well. |

I periodically search by title
I also look at closing postings--once in a while I find one I didn't see before.
Finally, check agency websites. Some agencies post their positions on their website and not on USA jobs.
