Are video hearings here to stay?

NLRB just put out a notice of proposed rulemaking on permanently expanding video hearings, even after the pandemic. Will other agencies go that way too?

I would hope so. Having numerous avenues of access to hearings is beneficial to those we serve.

That’s not the way I heard it. Telephone and video is here to stay in conjunction with in-person hearings.

The January/February hearings will be a small number by management judges to evaluate the process. The way I see it it will be at least 75 days after mid February.

Sorry I took the question to mean no more in person hearings because we have had video hearings for a while now. Yes, video hearings will continue with conjunction with in person hearings. Phone hearings may not be here to stay—I dislike them.
