Very interesting CAFC decision. Bottom line - I think - is it affirmed the patent board's denial of a patent request for artificial intelligence to determine eligibility for Social Security disability benefits. Which of course disincentivizes the AI process from going forward, at least from the private sector. I don't know how to link the decision but it's an easy Google.
Edit to add that my IP chops ended after law school, but if you are on this board and also are an IP maven, this is def your thing.
