There are some of you posting about offers that have been here a long time. ducky comes to mind as one of those. Probably more, but she stuck out when I glanced at the thread. Congratulations to all on a road long traveled that ultimately led to the destination. Pixie I think she is judge already and was posting for someone else |

As an East Coaster, I think it's likely that a call is not coming my way today (especially as I track the math of the Board and the purported number of positions). I, for one, do not feel that my misfortune should dampen the mood for those of you lucky enough to have received a phone call from SSA today. Thus, I want to extend my congratulations to all of you and wish you the best going forward. I sincerely am thrilled for you and hope you will enjoy your new positions.

You are correct Christina, but I have my fingers crossed for the others and still look forward to Pixie visiting the home of the Allman Brothers! And, before others give up, the offer number is expected to be 50 and change in total.

Congrats and such opportunity never comes without hard work and sacrifice. Over ten years ago I got such a call that went into my cellphone and work voicemail as I was in court. Back then they faxed me my judicial appointment and I still did not believe that it was for real. It is a dream come true and I am happy to share vicariously in the joy of this moment. Best Wishes!

Congratulations to all who got an offer. I remember getting the call after trying to become an ALJ for several years. Was so happy. And Iām still happy about it! Best law job on earth.
