Anyone have a clue as to how long it takes from the time you submit your application information until you receive a response one way or another. The message I have on Ap. Mgr. says "awaiting results. You will be notified."

I have the same status note, and the Application Manager doesn't explain that specific phrase. I didn't expect any change from the "Pending HR Specialist Action" until I got a NOR indicating whether I had met the minimum requirements, and have no idea how "Awaiting results--you will be notified" differs, or provides more information.

In 2007 it was right at two months from closing date (I received my notification on July 12th, apps closed May 9) when we were advised whether we made the first cut and, if so, the scheduling of the Structured Interview and Written Demonstration.
Point of Information: All notifications from OPM and SSA were to the email address entered on the application (including the job offer). The first snail mail I received was post acceptance with all of the required paperwork.
